Profile
Graduated from the University of Limerick in Ireland in first class honours in Computer Systems. My final year project was writing a port of the Minix operating system to the Xen Hypervisor. While there I was also heavily involved with the computer society, whose goal is to provide unix/linux access to students on campus who otherwise would only have access to windows.
From there I followed my interest in operating systems and joined Symbian Software Ltd. I worked on the next generation networking architecture, called Freeway.
After 3.5 years it was time for something new, so I joined Yahoo!. In Yahoo Research Barcelona, I'm working in the systems team in various projects involving Zookeeper.
