Profile
John Tomlin joined Yahoo! Research in September 2005. Prior to this, he was a Research Staff Member at the IBM Almaden Research Center, in the Services Research and Mathematics departments. His primary interests are in optimization, network algorithms and linear algebra. He obtained his B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Adelaide, South Australia, and later was awarded a post-doctoral fellowship in the Operations Research department at Stanford University.
