Profile
Pras Sarkar joined Yahoo! Research in 2007 as a Research Engineer. Pras works on numerous internal and external projects and currently leads the engineering for the Yahoo! Research website. He also leads the Yahoo! Sandbox initiative - a showcase of few select innovations from our scientists.
Pras is also pursuing a Masters in Software Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University. Prior to working at Yahoo! he was leading the development team at a wine e-commerce startup.
Pras' interests lie in social graphs, next-generation web applications, aggregation and the semantic web, and data mining for socially and behaviorally interesting data.
