Tejaswi "Tej" (pronounced "tayj") Kasturi joined Yahoo! Research in September of 2003 to work on technology transfer for new research. His interests lie in leveraging research, data, and new techniques to improve the Web experience for end users. Prior to joining Overture, he designed and implemented investment software, e-commerce solutions, enterprise software and mobile phone (WAP/SMS) software at several companies. Mr. Kasturi received his B.S. in Computer Engineering from Caltech in 1997. His interests outside software development include system administration, computer hardware, politics, science fiction and music.
