Yahoo!’s Outstanding List of Accepted Papers at EC 08
The Ninth ACM Conference on Electronic Commerce (EC 08) will be held July 8 to 12 in Chicago, IL. Yahoo! will be repeating its stellar technical presence, earning the honor of 7 out of 38 total accepted papers this year as a result of a highly rigorous selection process.
Yahoo!’s “Self-Financed Wagering Mechanisms for Forecasting” was one of two Outstanding Papers awarded at the conference after the selection committee narrowed the choices to 6 finalists. The 6 finalists had some of the strongest reviews of the 200 papers submitted to the conference, as candidates for Outstanding Papers.
