The Role of Computational Linguistics In the Search For Information

Abstract

This paper (in Catalan) presents a general view of the new emerging search applications which make use of shallow semantics. Three different applications developed by Fundació Barcelona Media-Yahoo Labs Barcelona:  Yahoo Correlator, TimeExplorer and Quest, are presented.
