Amin Mantrach

Research Scientist
Sunnyvale, California

Since April 2015, I am working on search advertising for the Yahoo Gemini platform. My current research falls in the domain of recommender systems, representation learning, and topic modelling. I completed my Phd in 2010 in the domain of Machine learning, and Kernel Methods applied to Graphs. In my dissertation I introduced a new measure of betweenness and applied it to semi-supervised learning on graphs. After my Phd, I joined the Xerox Research Center Europe where I have been leading research on multi-view learning (collective matrix factorization). In September 2012, I joined Yahoo Labs Barcelona, where I conducted research on matrix factorization techniques, recommender systems, and topic tracking and evolution.
