Balázs Szörényi is a Sr Research Scientist at Yahoo Research Scalable Machine Learning team. Prior to joining Yahoo, he did postdocs and long term research visits at the Technion (Haifa, Israel), at INRIA Lille-Nord Europe (France), and at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. His main research interest is learning theory and theoretical machine learning. He finished his PhD at the University of Szeged under the supervision of Professor György Turán.
