Suleyman is a Principal Research Scientist in the Advertising Sciences group at Yahoo Research. Previously, he worked as an intern in the Data Science team of LinkedIn (under DJ Patil, who was the U.S. Chief Data Scientist between 2015-2017), and in the Advertising Sciences group at Yahoo Labs respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University, and his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University. His research interests span a broad range of topics in online advertising, information retrieval, machine learning, data and text mining, recommendation systems, and big data.
