Emerson A. Azarbakht has a PhD in computer science from Oregon State University and a Master's in Intelligent Systems Design from Chalmers University of Technology. 

Prior to Yahoo!, he taught 1,070 post-baccalaureate students at Oregon State University's School of EECS, and helped them switch careers to get tech jobs.

Emerson is an avid reader, enjoys solving brain teaser puzzles, and playing tennis.
