Qian joined the Demand Platforms R&D team (ex-AOL Platforms R&D group) in May 2015, as a senior research scientist. He has been the subject matter expert in campaign pacing control and performance optimization. He was a staff engineer with Western Digital and a post-doc research associate with the University of Virginia. Qian received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA and a B.S. in automatic control from the University of Science and Technology of China in Hefei, China.
