Kofi Boakye received his B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University in 2002. He obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 2005 and 2008, respectively. Prior to Yahoo he served as lead for the Computer Vision group at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He is currently on the
Video Intelligence team where he focuses on large-scale image recognition. His research interests include Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing.
